Bicycle Crunches

Bicycle Crunches are one of the best exercises for targeting the obliques and the entire abdominal region. Start lying on your back, with your hands behind your head and knees bent. Lift your head, neck, and shoulders off the ground while bringing your left elbow toward your right knee. Extend your left leg straight while twisting your torso to the left, then switch sides in a pedaling motion. This engages the core and promotes fat loss.

(Back-Friendly Version)
To reduce strain on the back, perform Bicycle Crunches at a slower pace and focus on twisting your torso rather than forcing the movement with your legs. Keep your lower back pressed into the floor as much as possible, and try to avoid pulling on your neck. This version reduces pressure on the spine and is gentler on the lower back.

Bicycle Crunches Steps:

  1. Lie flat on your back with your knees bent and hands behind your head.
  2. Lift your shoulders off the floor and bring your left elbow toward your right knee.
  3. Extend your left leg straight while twisting your torso to the left.
  4. Alternate sides, bringing your right elbow toward your left knee.
  5. Perform for 30-60 seconds, then rest.
